Evo šta sam izvukao iz čuvene EU regulative vezano za nove lične karte:
https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2019/1157/oj/eng
Main deadlines under Regulation 2019/1157
- 2 August 2021 - Member states had to start issuing identity cards that comply with the new requirements by this date.
- 3 August 2026 - Non-compliant identity cards that lack a machine-readable zone (MRZ) or do not meet minimum security standards must cease being valid either when they expire or by this date whichever comes first.
- 3 August 2031 - All identity cards that don’t meet the full set of requirements in the Regulation (e.g. including security chips and biometric data) must be phased out / no longer valid by this final date.
Mandatory (for all EU biometric ID cards):
- Contactless NFC chip → holds the biometric data (face + fingerprints).
- This is the same technology as in biometric passports, readable by border gates and NFC readers.
Optional (depends on the country):
- Contact chip (like a credit card chip) → used for electronic ID (eID) services such as online government logins, digital signatures, or health insurance authentication.
- Not all countries add this.
- Example:
- Germany’s ID card has both NFC + contactless eID features (Slovenia and Austria also include digital signature functions),
- Bulgaria, Italy, Poland issue biometric ID cards without a contact chip — only NFC for biometrics.
Sad ako može jedno pitanje, koja je razlika u novim ličnim kartama? Znam da na nju dođe čip, ali vizuelno po čemu se još razlikuje? Da li su prije imale MRZ brojeve na poleđini?
