Michael Schumacher is the latest significant name in Barcelona to claim that Red Bull Racing have a clear advantage at the front of the field. On-track for the first time this week on Thursday, the seven-time title winner was in action after Team Principal Ross Brawn commented that Mercedes are in need of losing one second per lap.

“We had a very productive day, we did lots of setup work,” Schumacher explained to GPUpdate.net and other reporters.





“We worked a lot at the others tests to make sure that reliability is of no concern, as much as you can say that in Formula 1! The priority now is to fine-tune the car and that’s what we’ve been doing today quite successfully.

“I need a little bit more time with my engineers to evaluate and analyse. It’s going to be a close competition. I see Red Bull being clearly up front but clearly the challenge will be hard. It’s obviously our big task, to manage and set the car to the conditions it needs for the Pirelli tyre, but we have improved with that and I hope we can improve further.”

Ne znam za kablovske, ali na dream box fercera Prva.

Ima,idu i nezvanicni u subotu prije kvalifikacija,a koliko ljudi ima satelitsku,95% CG bez F1,ne pamtim od kad...

Prije 10 godina nije bilo toga ko nije imao satelitsku, sad svi presli na ove nove tehnologije.
A kad bi Sofro nesto smutio pa da se na IN prenosi bilo bi super.

jbm se, ko i do sad: download BBC-evog prenosa ili live stream za nuzdu... A ako rtcg nije otkupila prava, onda mozda nece bit zamracivanja za ostale kanale (ne znam, nemam nikakvu televiziju doma)

Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Norbert Haug believes the steps will help the team emerge as a competitive force at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix – even though testing form has been difficult to read this year.
When asked about who he thought Mercedes GP's immediate rivals were, he said: "There are probably a dozen cars at least!

"It is probably very clear who is fastest and who has the most consistent lap times currently, then there is probably a second place team. And my guess is that for third spot there are probably a handful of teams fighting for that place initially at the first race.

"But as we saw in previous years that can change. It can change after testing – and it can change from one day to the other. If our package comes together as planned, we can probably make a good step – and if that does not work we need to explore our capabilities further.

"It is difficult to make predictions, and that is what makes it interesting at the end of the day."
