Mick McCarthy's Wolves should be well rested for their home date with Burnley on Sunday.
McCarthy has fallen under the spotlight this week following his decision to make 10 changes to his starting XI at Manchester United on Tuesday.
The Wolves chief has been lambasted by some for making sweeping alterations, with critics claiming he was virtually conceding defeat before the game had even begun.
However, others feel the wily coach was right to save his key men for the challenges which lie ahead, starting with Burnley this weekend.
Wolves know their survival ambitions will rest on how they fare against the teams in and around them, not against those battling for the title.
The West Midlands outfit will also be aware that they need to start plugging a leaky defence which has kept only one clean sheet in their last 15 Premier League games.
They have also only managed one shutout in their last 17 at Molineux, which offers hope to the visitors.
Burnley have been woeful on the road this season, though, with just one point to show for their efforts so far.
That is the worst record in the top flight and goes some way to explaining why they currently occupy a standing in the bottom half of the table.
Worryingly for Clarets boss Owen Coyle, he has also seen his side concede at least two goals in each of their away matches this season.
Kightly missing
Wolves will once again be without the services of Michael Kightly on Sunday as he nurses an ankle problem.
David Edwards and Andy Keogh have similar injury problems and will be unavailable to McCarthy.
Goalkeeper Matt Murray remains a long-term absentee with a knee complaint.
No worries
Burnley have no fresh injury or suspension concerns to contend with heading into the game.
Jay Rodriguez has an ankle problem, and misses out as a result, while Martin Paterson is laid low with a knee injury.
Chris McCann is still some way off making a return to action following knee ligament damage.
