SHOCK RESISTANCE x MUD-RESISTANCE / TWIN SENSOR
-Casio Japan announced a few days ago a new Mudman. Introduced last month at Baselworld 2011, this new Mudman comes with all what makes a G-Shock a truly impressive watch with carbon fiber reinforced resin band as well as being Shock resistant, dust-proof and mud resistant.
Other basic features includes Moon Phase, Compass, Temperature, and the usual Atomic clock thingy that will always keep you on time even in the middle of the desert!

SHOCK RESISTANCE x MUD-RESISTANCE / TWIN SENSOR Designed for use in extreme environments, from off-road rallying to survival expeditions, this newborn MUDMAN adds further enhanced mud resistance and two sensors to G-SHOCK's shock-resistant structure, it offers all the requisite performance capabilities to handle hard use, even in brutal desert environments.

New protective button covering
A new structure employs urethane to cover the 3-key button layout. Independent button cover construction is used to protect the buttons' peripheries from intrusion by foreign matter, such as dust, sand or mud, even more reliably, while improving their operability at the same time.

Twin Sensor
A direction sensor and temperature sensore are mounted inside the case.
Measurement errors by the direction sensor due to magnetization are prevented by employing anti-magnetic 64 titanium alloy SUS316L for the button shaft in the 9 o'clock position as well as for such parts as the bezel and case back.



Twin Eye displays
A large display shows directions and a smaller display present moon data (moon age) in graphic format. A bearing memory function that stores measured direction helps the user maintain a straight course toward a target point, even in the desert when visibility is reduced by sand storms or other adverse conditions.




Case back design
The back of the case employs smoother construction for improved wear comfort.

This new MUDMAN model is the first one to be equipped with a direction sensor and thermo sensor that help you keep your bearings whenever you adventure into parts unknown.
The touch of a button goes directly into the Compass Mode from any other mode.
A Moon Phase graph gives you an idea of whether the nighttime hours will be dark or light.
A declination function even makes it possible to adjust the watch's magnetic north direction reading so it indicates true north.
All of this plus Tough Solar to keep everything working, and total shock and mud resistance to keep everything well-protected.
