Tell me a story.

If you must write it down then do so
But if not speak it to me in acoustic tones
With your sweet breath brushing my skin
And your voice etching itself into all parts of me.
Weither the story is true or not I listen.
I open my ears and focus my eyes and listen.

I am the observer. You are the artist.

Write me a song.

Write it on a hotel napkin and I will read it
I will hum it, I will sing it.
But if not, sing it to me, play it to me.
Play it on your guitar or on your piano
Sing it in your sweet voice and I will listen rapturously
Feet tapping and hands clicking to your rhythm.

I am the listener. You are the musician.

Paint me a picture.

Paint it on a piece of cardboard or an animal shell.
But if you cannot find the right object I will find you a canvas
And you will pour magic onto it's snow white surface.
I will watch the colors spread and the shapes form
I will watch the emotions rise and feelings burst
I will watch nature defy itself and the impossible happen.

I am the spectator. You are the painter.

Tell me who I am.

Look into my eyes and take hold of my hand
And tell me what you see in me.
Look behind the black lined brown eyes
Look behind the black hair and the crooked smile
And tell me who I am. Tell me everything you see in my eyes
And behind them.

I am me. You are the artist.
