Ovo su najbolje pjesme od njega: Hit 'em up, Dear Mama, Hail Mary, Life goes on, I ain't mad at cha, uncoditional love, Changes, Brenda's got a baby, God bless the dead, Keep ya head up, 2 of Amerikaz most wanted, How do you want it, Heartz of men, Lil Hommies, Me and my girlfriend (nisu poređane po redu)...

    * I ain't mad at cha (spot za ovu pjesmu PAC je napravio kao da ga ubijaju ispred zgrade (pozorište, galerija ili sl.) dok je izlazio sa frendom, i onda on kao anđeo pjeva pjesmu, koja je u spotu malo prerađena, dakle maknute su psovke iz originala) preporučujem da poslušate verziju sa psovkama
    * Keep ya head up
    * Dear mama
    * Life goes on

    ~* Fallen Star *~
    (4 Huey P. Newton)

    They could never understand
what u set out 2 do
    instead they chose 2
    ridicule u

    when u got weak
    they loved the sight
    of your dimming
    and flickering starlight

How could they understand what was so intricate
2 be loved by so many, so intimate

they wanted 2 c your lifeless corpse
this way u could not alter the course
of ignorance that they have set
    2 make my people forget
what they have done for much 2 long
2 just forget and carry on

I had loved u forever because of who u r
and now I mourn our fallen star

The Rose That Grew From Concrete

Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?

Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet.

Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air.

Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared.

    ~* And Tomorrow *~

Today is filled with anger, fueled with hidden hate.
Scared of being outkast, afraid of common fate.
Today is built on tragedies which no one wants to face.
Nightmares to humanity and morally disgraced.
Tonight is filled with rage, violence in the air.
Children bred with ruthlessness cause no one at home cares.
Tonight I lay my head down but the pressure never stops,
knawing at my sanity, content when I'm dropped.
But tomorrow I see a change, a chance to build anew,
built on Spirit, intent of heart, and ideas based on truth.
Tomorrow I wake with second wind and strong ideas of pride.
I know I fought with all my heart to keep the dream alive.

In The Event Of My Demise

In the event of my Demise

when my heart can beat no more

    I Hope I Die For A Principle

or A Belief that I had Lived 4

I will die Before My Time

Because I feel the shadow's Depth

so much I wanted 2 accomplish

    before I reached my Death

I have come 2 grips with the possibility

and wiped the last tear from My eyes

I Loved All who were Positive

In the event of my Demise

~ In The Depths Of Solitude~

I exist in the depths of solitude
    pondering my true goal
Trying 2 find peace of mind
    and still preseerve my soul
    CONSTANTLY yearning to be accepted
    and from all receive respect
    Never compromising but sometimes risky
and that is my only regret
A young heart with an old soul
how can I be in the depths of solitude
when there R 2 inside of me
    This Duo within me causes
    the perfect opportunity
2 learn and live twice as fast
    as those who accept simplicity

Can You See The Pride In The Panther?

Can u c the pride in the pantha
as he glows in splendor and grace
Topping OBSTACLES placed in the way
of the progression of his race

Can u c the pride in the Pantha
as she nurtures her young all alone
    The seed must grow regardless
of the fact that it?s planted in stone

Can't u c the pride in the panthas
    as they unify as one
    The flower blooms with brilliance
and outshines the rays of the sun

    Under The Skies Above
    (After the miscarriage)

My child is out there somewhere
    under the skies above
waiting anxiously 4 u and me
2 bless it with our love
A part of me a part of u
and a part of this love we share
    will protect my unborn child
who lives dormant out there somewhere
    Sometimes in my dreams
I imagine what it would be like
How could I properly guide him
    when even I don't know what's right
Whether he is born in wealth or poverty
there will be no dificiency in love
I welcome this gift of life
given from GOD under the skies above

    Life Through My Eyes

    Life through my bloodshot eyes
would scare a square 2 death
    poverty, murder, violence
and never a moment 2 rest
    Fun and games R few
but treasured like gold 2 me
cuz I realize that I must return
    2 my spot in poverty
But mock my words when I say
    my heart will not exist
    unless my destiny comes through
and put an end 2 all of this

    When Ur Heart Turns Cold
(2 Kristen & My Other Friends Who Wonder)

    When your heart turns cold
it causes your soul 2 freeze
    It spreads throughout your spirit
    like a ruthless feeling disease
The walls that once were down
    now stand firm and tall
    Safe from hate/love, pain/joy
until u feel nothing at all
    When ure heart turns cold
    a baby's cry means nothing
    A dead corpse is trivial
    Mothers neglecting children is daily
    Loneliness becomes your routine friend
    Death seems like tranquility
    Sleeping is never pleasant
if u even sleep at all
u forgot ideals and turn off the reason
2 make sure the product gets sold
You don't understand how I behave
Just wait till your heart turns Cold!

    Untitled

Please wake me when I'm free
    I cannot bear captivity
where my culture I'm told holds no significance
I'll wither and die in ignorance
But my inner eye can c a race
who reigned as kings in another place
the green of trees were rich and full
and every man spoke of beautiful
men and women together as equals
War was gone because all was peaceful
    But now like a nightmare I wake 2 c
That I live like a prisoner of poverty
Please wake me when I'm free
    I cannot bear captivity
4 I would rather be sticken blind
than 2 live without expression of mind

    The Eternal Lament

From my mind 2 the depths of my soul
I yearn 2 achieve all of my goals
And all of my free time will be spent
On the 1's I miss I will lament

    I am not a perfectionist
    But still I seek perfection
I am not a great romantic
But yet I yearn 4 affection

    Eternally my mind will produce
ways 2 put my talents 2 use
and when I'm done no matter where I've been
I'll yearn 2 do it all again.

    ~Only 4 The Righteous~

I'm Down with strictly dope "So"
That means I'm more than u can handle
"Hot" Im hotter than the wax from a candle
"Him" that's Roc he's my microphone companion

    (dedicated to Marilyn Monroe)

Secrets R hidden within the clouds
    of Darkness,
And in this place no on Dares 2 Breathe
    in Fear of self-expression
    It has been this way
    forever and a day
    until she came 2 shine
with a spark of innocence and questions
only 2 be answered with Darkness
not just Darkness but hte silent kind
that steals your soul and kills your mind
    There was no compassion
    for this thriving star
    only exploitations
    and confused jealousy

    ~*Starry Night*~
(dedicated in memory of Vincent Van Gogh)

a creative heart, obsessed with satisfying
    This dormant and uncaring society
u have given them the stars at night

But 4 u there is only contempt
and though u pour yourself into that frame
    and present it so proudly
this world could not accept your masterpieces

evo za sve vas, koji ne znate, neprijatelji 2PAC-a i razlozi:

    Bad Boy Entertainment
Tupac's beef with Bad Boy Records (Biggie, Puff Daddy, and Junior Mafia) began Nov. 30th, 1994. That was the night that Tupac was shot in New York. Tupac was going to the Quad Recording studio to appear on a song with rapper Lil Shawn. Puff Daddy, Notorious BIG, Lil Ceaser and several other Bad Boy artists were present upstairs in the studio. Tupac walked into the lobby of the studio along with Stretch and his manager when three men (two almost surely identified as King Tut and Haitian Jack) walked up behind them and began 'robbing' Pac and his entourage. They requested the group lay on the floor and give them their jewelry. Stretch, with no gun, apparently lied down fearing for his life. On the other hand Tupac did not. One of the gunmen had his gun on Tupac's abdomen. Tupac pushed the gun from his stomach down towards his leg so if he were shot it wouldn't be as serious. He then made a reach for his gun. Shot a few times, Pac fell to the floor. He was then shot a couple more times making 5 total, even shot in the head. The robbers then kicked him in the head a few times before taking his jewels (jewelry) and getting away. Surprisingly, Tupac was able to, with help, get up and take the elevator to where the other artists were located. In a Vibe article, Tupac exclaimed that noone attempted to go to his aid. They were all just in shock that he was walking around and talking with such injuries. He said Lil Shawn was 'crying like a little bitch' In the video, "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" Tupac 'acts' this scene out. He has a fake Puffy and Biggie. Biggie is pleading for his life. And Tupac forgives him for setting him up, as Pac saw it. Puff Daddy, Biggie, and Little Shawn, all have responses to Tupac's comments on what went on. All available in the Tupac Tribute Vibe book.
Pac uses the term he was 'set up' by Biggie in many of his tracks. I really don't think that was the case, even in Pac's mind. I think Pac meant that BIG knew it was coming and didn't warn him about it. Sadly enough, this happened just a day before Tupac's sentencing in the sexual assault case. His jail-mates tell him that Biggie set him up and that they were saying shit like "You don't know? Biggie's homeboy shot you" He was getting calls from his supposed friends that they were out partying with his now 'enemies'. Having a good time with them, while Pac is locked up. Also, I remember one occasion Pac speaks about how once he and BIG and a few others had a hotel room. The cops searched the room and found Biggie's guns. Biggie and everyone else fleed the scene and Pac was left with the charges. Although Pac took the case, he still felt betrayed. Although repeatedly dissed by 2Pac in such songs as "Hit Em Up" and even unreleased tracks like "When We Ride On Our Enemies", Biggie and Puffy adamantly deny the charges that they set up 2Pac and never struck back with any type of diss tracks. Everytime confronted with the issue, Biggie still said he had nothing to do with it and wished to speak to Pac to clear everything up. On top of all the disses Pac threw towards Biggie and Bad Boy, Tupac apparently had sex with Biggie's wife, recording artist Faith Evans... In "Brooklyn's Finest" with Jay-Z, Biggie says "If Faith had twins, she'd probably have two Pacs" Tupac used him having sex with his wife to further exploit and humiliate Biggie and what his image was. Personally, I do respect Biggie as an artist and respect his skills as an emcee. But 2Pac is right when he says how fake Biggie is with his image. He tries to act like he's a playa, that's some bullshit. As Pac said "he never had bitches till he got some (fuckin) money" I don't know what to believe on whether Biggie knew that Pac would be shot in NY or not. I tried to put my bias as a Pac fan aside, and I can't make a decision on what to believe at this point. Puffy, on the other hand, is another story. He will never have my respect and hopefully none of yours. He has no place in the music industry. Stealing beats left and right. He has very little talent and is, frankly, a piece of shit. **** him!!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Jay Z
I don't know much about the specifics of how this started. But Jay-Z did have a track off of his album 'Reasonable Doubt' called "Brooklyn's Finest" featuring Notorious BIG in which Biggie makes reference to Tupac sleeping with his wife (not a diss) but also says the line "Who Shot Ya" which could be looked upon as being a reference to the 1994 NY shooting. Maybe Jay-Z's association with that song and his association with other Bad Boy artists such as Junior Mafia and Lil Kim, Puffy, and, obviously, Biggie could have led to 2Pac's disses. That's my best guess and all I have to say on the rivalry.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    LL Cool J
Tupac's beef with LL Cool J, oddly enough, was started by LL, it seems. Tupac had respect for LL and even speaks about it in the track "Old School" from 'Me Against the world'. LL's song "I Shot Ya" is said to be a response to Biggie's "Who Shot Ya?" (Thought to be directed towards 2Pac, although BIG denied it) where he apparently disses Pac. Claiming, not really but in the track, that he shot him in the NY Shooting. Tupac responded, a little bit in his unreleased song where he says "Nigga, I'll rock your mutha fuckin bells!!" Referring to LL's old hit "Rock The Bells" Anyway, that's about all I know about it and I personally don't really believe in this one...

Chino XL, was really, to my knowledge, an unknown in the hip-hop industry. At least, I hadn't heard of him until Tupac dissed him. Well, word got to Pac that in one of Chino XL's songs, he says "....You'll get fucked like Tupac did in jail". Chino XL may have some real tight rhymes, but he had no place to say that shit about Pac getting raped while he was in jail. Some little artist talkin shit to, at the time, the most popular artist in hip-hop, if not the entire music industry. I'm surprised 2Pac even got word about that rhyme. Maybe one of the four people that bought his album notified Pac. Also, I just noticed Chino XL is talking shit AFTER 2Pac has passed. This guy has a lot of nerve... In the last verse in the ones above, from a song called "Jesus", making "Makaveli sound like Macarena." Chino XL, is probably the only one out of Pac's enemies who have still insulted Pac after his death. I even heard about this freestyle from a morning wake up show in 96 on the radio, and shit, Chino dissed his ass bad. I got to hand it to him, he is a tight rapper. Some of those rhymes, damn!, like "2Pacalypse battling me is preposterous, wrapping my yellow hands around your esophagus, and your face turn purple like it was leeky leek, A nigga with one ball shouldn't speak, I grab my ball when I see 2Pac, He needs police protection, I'm blackin out like Martin Lawrence on the side of an intersection" or "That's cuz you survived five shots, Survive five once I bring my lyrical onslaught, You walk around tough like that ass from in box corp, Once I start it's critical, Niggaz get touched and your eyes is turnin black like I'm an angel from Bone Thugs' video, All you here is ambulance sirens, And Pac boxed since you were last cryin on Oprah like he Dennis Rodman, Nigga You ain't never ever seen drama, you and your dope fiend mama, Niggaz is shady, I shed ya california blood and kill Brenda's baby, get around these nuts niggaz don't play me, recognize my face and turn that ass in the back of a Mercedes like a Madonna wardrobe in the 80's:" He really tears Pac up.... damn... I think this was made before 2Pac passed. That's all good and well and I can respect him for not backin down like that. But to make those comments in that track "Jesus" and in the track from 1998 "When Thugs Cry" is just plain weak. Let Pac rest in peace and stop talking shit after he's gone.

    Nas
Nas and Pac met up in a club 662 after Pac got free. Pac was thinkin they had him out of pocket and they could have kicked his ass, but he went up to Nas and said, "it don't concern you, don't get caught up in da east/west shit, than when Nas got back to NY, he dropped his album, "It was written", wit the song "The message" This song contained several references to 2pac. Which probably prompted 2pac to ask in an interview why Nas couldn't have told him this shit face to face. This line by Nas, from 'The Message' "Caught a hot one, somebody take this biscuit 'fore the cops come Then they came askin me my name, what the **** I got stitched up and went through Left the hospital that same night, what" and the lines that precede it have Nas sitting in a car and getting shot and shooting at someone, then he claims that he left the hospital that night, I believe that prompted Tupac's line in "Against all oddz" sayin, "This lil nigga named Nas think he live like me, talkin bout he left the hospital, took five like me". Cause Pac actually did get shot and leave the hospital soon after in the NY 94 shooting.
After this initial battle, I believe then Pac began attacking Nas for biting his style. I really didn't notice him biting Pac's style, until a couple years after Tupac died. I, personally, realized this fake biter Nas was exactly that when I saw his video/song with Puffy called "Hate Me Now" If you haven't seen the video for it... You need to see it to better appreciate how much he and Puffy bite Pac
    (1) I'm sure you have seen Pac's 'Thug Life' tattoo across his abdomen (if not check the tattoos section) well, it seems Nas went as far as to get one almost exactly in the same place and style saying "God Son"
    (2) They 'pour out liqour' throughout the video... Kind of known as a Tupac trademark in videos (i.e. California Love Remix Video)
    (3) They flip off the camera throughout the video... That shit is just funny. Nas and Puffy flippin off the camera. Tupac never did that did he?
    (4) They are wearing sleeveless t-shirts (wife-beaters) and black jeans and shit.. I'm not saying Tupac had that look copyrighted or anything, but he was known to wear that kind of attire. Obviously, Nas noticed that too.
One other note, Nas did a song after 2pac died, called "It's Mine" with Mobb Deep. In the track it states "Thug Life is mine" in the chorus. The Outlawz, for one, took offense to this and at the end of a freestyle they did on BET's Rap City , they addressed it by saying "Thug Life is yours? Syke! You gonna see boy, get it right."
Nas continues to steal his style in the music area too. There are two Nas songs, I don't recall the names, that have the identical baseline as the song "All Eyez on Me" and "Toublesome '96". They didn't even change them a little, they're just Tupac songs with Nas' poor rapping. In the Nas song "We will survive", obviously an attempt to make a powerful song like "Changes", Nas praises Tupac tremendously, saying, "I can't believe I heard my name on the realest shit you ever wrote" -- this is a reference to "Against all odds" on Makaveli, where Tupac merely disses him. Also, there's a new song out with the lyric "I won't deny it, I'm a fuckin' rider, you don't want to **** wit me" and that is almost exactly what Tupac said in "Ambitionz As a Rider".
I think that Nas seriously looks up to Tupac and admires him so much as to steal his music AND lifestyle. As far as I'm concerned, all Nas is missing is the bandana, talent, intellect, and history Pac had. Keep reaching Nas!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dr. Dre
This beef started at the time of Snoops trial. Dre never showed up, which Tupac saw as a dis to Snoop and all of Death Row. Then there was the fact that Dre hadn't released an album since "The Chronic", and really wasn't doing a lot, while collecting a lot of money. Tupac also said that Dre was gay, and said that he cheated on his wife. "What's down in the darkness, will come to light".

Toss It Up - "No longer dre day, arive derche, long and forgotten, gotten for plottin-child's play check your sexuality, as fruity as this alize quick to jump ship, punk trick, what a dumb move cross Death Row, now who you gonna run to? Like those other suckers cuz you similiar pretendin to be hard-oh my god-check your temperature, screamin Compton, but you can't return, you ain't heard brothas pissed cuz you switched and escaped to the burbs."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Mobb Deep
The Beef apparently began with The Dogg Pound (Daz and Kurupt) had a song and video from their album "Dogg Food" called "New York, New York" featuring Snoop Dogg. The video features Daz, Snoop, and Kurupt in New York, 'super-size' to make themselves appear bigger than New York walking around all the buildings and shit. Well, some east coast rappers took offense to that. That group included, Mobb Deep, Tradgedy, and Capone and Noreaga. They came back with a track called "La,La" It was obvious it was in reply to the 'New York, New York' track becuase the beat and chorus were the same/same tone. Tupac didn't like the diss of Los Angeles, on top of that he heard a track they did "Survival of the Fittest" where they said "Thug Life we still livin' it" while Pac was in jail. Pac took this as a diss because he created 'Thug Life' and that quote could easily be interpreted as a diss. So while he was in jail sent a couple of his homiez to one of their concerts. They got out and was screaming 'Thug Life Mutha Fucka!!!' and Mobb Deep ignored them. So that angered Tupac to the extent that when he got out of jail, Mobb Deep were included in the disses with Bad Boy and so on. He begins talking shit about Prodigy (one of the members of Mobb Deep) having sickle cell. Saying things like "Don't one of you niggaz got sickle cell or somethin?, You fuckin with me nigga you **** around, and have a seizure or a heart-attack" In quite a few unreleased songs, as well as released songs such as 'Hit Em Up' and 'Bomb First' Tupac disses Mobb Deep heavily.
Unlike most of Tupac's enemies, though, Mobb Deep responded. Their track "Drop A Gem On Em" from their album "Hell On Earth" was released. It contained such statements as "Rikers Island flashback of the house you got scuffed it in, you would think you gettin your head shot was enough but then now you wanna got at my team, you must of been drunk when you wrote that shit, too bad you had to did it to your own self" In that line saying 2Pac getting shot up in New York would have been enough for him to realize not to **** with New York... and saying he was 'drunk' when he wrote all the disses such as in Hit Em Up. Or this one...."got raped on the Island, you officially got, kick that thug shit, Vibe magazine on some love shit, keep it real kid, you don't know who you fuckin wit" Claiming Tupac was 'raped' in his stint at Riker 's Island Correctional Facility when he served 8 months or so for the sexual assault charges. Also, in that line, saying he needs to get rid of the thug image and they even make reference to the Vibe magazine Interview in which Tupac openly speaks about what happened when he was shot at Quad Studios in New York in 94.
You have to respect Mobb Deep for coming back with a response. It's better than sitting there like a little bitch and not saying anything. And since Pac's death, nearly everytime I have heard them questioned about the situation with 2Pac, they have nothing negative to say about him and even praise him at times. And even had enough respect to pull "Drop A Gem On Em" off the shelves out of respect for him. I, personally, don't enjoy Mobb Deep's music, but that's besides the point. One other note, Mobb Deep did a song after 2Pac died, called "It's Mine" with Nas. In the track they say "Thug Life is mine" in the chorus. The Outlawz, for one, took offense to this and at the end of a freestyle they did on BET's Rap City, they addressed it by saying "Thug Life is yours? Syke! You gonna see boy, get it right."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dan Quayle
This is obviously not a rapper like the rest of these enemies. He was the vice-president of the USA after 2Pac's first solo album "2Pacalypse Now", and he wanted to ban the album cause of the violent "cop-killing" lyrics, which according to him influenced people to kill cops. He said "There's absolutely no reason for a record like this to be published" and "It has no place in our society". Though this is not a kind of enemy that would get in a (gun)fight with 2Pac, it might have been one of the most dangerous ones, with his power to ban Pac's music. Fortunately he failed in doing this.
