U know u grew up in Montenegro if u played:

    1. 'Zzzzzzzzzumkalice...'
    2. Marbles and used unforgettable expressions like 'nema dzampale' or 'toskale'...
    3. Blind grandma
    4. 'Trulih kobila'
    5. Wars and used various kinds of plastic guns including those with water
    6. Cards- all night long, especially during the summer (remi, zing, lore...)
and especially when we were a little, the game - 'donkeys' and unavoidable yelling: 'I am a donkey!' three tmes
    7. Doctors, drivers, teachers (my favourite), singers, models...
    8. mothers and dragged a big, bald doll with u all the time
    9. gumi-gumi, all day, especially during big brake at school
    10. naughty by putting big cartoons on the street
    11. naughty by throwing eggs or balloons full of water on passers-by (if u were living in a building)
    12. by putting an empty wallet on the street which u previously tied with a tiny rope and wait in the bushes that someone tries to steal it :joint:
    13. by ringing on people's bells and run away...
    14. by putting disconcerting letters in peoples mailboxes
    15. with words by adding -pa, -pe, -pi, -po, -pu... (for example: japa tepe vopolipim)
    16. 'fota' and drunk a LOT of water or did various stupid things
    17. with a sound of sirene that informs u that it is exactly 12 pm on the 1st day in a month (i guess that most of u don't remember this )
    18. interrupted with a sound of sirenes for alarm (in 1999)...

(i know that most of these games were played all over the world but i couldn't resist mentioning them )

You grew up in Montenegro if…

    - on the first day of school you used to come in new fancy shoes (preferably Nike) and show them off...

    - your friends used to slap you across your head when you get a new haircut… :kamikaza:

    - you can’t help tapping with your Fila papuce in the summer wherever you go, even downtown… :joint:

u know u grew up in Montenegro:

    * if u drink only Turkish coffee
(and amazingly there are only a few cafes in Podgorica where u can order one... so sad... )
    * if u ur grandma gave u the first Turkish coffee (secretly)
    * if there was some woman in the neighborhood who knew to foreseen the future by looking in ur cup
    * if some gypsy came to ur door step claiming that she is clairvoyant Violeta
    * if u must turn over ur cup when u have drunk ur coffee

and when you said "a ne no sto maraka" whenever you want to point out how something is impossible... well, it was understandable in times when our parent's payment was 3 DM.
I'm one of 50 sisters who killed their own husbands on the first wedding night.

Oh, my god it was so good....
