Maurizio Arrivabene believes Ferrari's deficit to Mercedes is now just one tenth of a second despite Nico Rosberg's dominant victory at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Rosberg claimed his third straight win of 2016 in Shanghai, a victory made more straightforward by Sebastian Vettel colliding with Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen at Turn 1. A day earlier Ferrari squandered an opportunity to get a car on to the front row when Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo jumped ahead of both its drivers into second.
Vettel and Raikkonen fought back from the first lap incident to finish second and fifth respectively in the grand prix but Ferrari team boss Arrivabene says Mercedes would have had a battle without mistakes throughout the weekend.
"In qualifying we could target pole position," Arrivabene is quoted as saying by Motorsport.com. "With our calculation we believed we were one tenth behind Mercedes, which is a margin that with a final push from the drivers could even be reduced to zero. But it didn't happen."
Fernando Alonso maintains he is still the best driver in Formula 1 overall and would beat anyone in the same car.
The two-time champion hasn't been on the podium since 2013, largely thanks to his machinery and more so following his switch from Ferrari to McLaren, which has seen him languish at the back of the pack, but he insists he is still the best overall driver on the grid.
"I always feel confident about beating anyone," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports F1. "I don't believe that I'm better than anyone on pure speed in qualifying, I don't think I'm better than anyone in wet conditions, dry conditions, qualifying, race.
"But if you put me in the same car at the same moment and same track as anyone. I think that I will beat them. Maybe I'm not best of all sections, but overall I will beat them," he said.

Mislim da ipak nema nista sto se tice engine upgrade za Sochi.
“We will have something for Sochi, but nothing of great importance,” said the Italian.
“We decided long ago that the philosophy would be of gradual development, because when you start a season with a totally new design, it makes no sense to come up with revolutionary (upgrade) packages.
“For the development of the engine we chose the same philosophy — of course we will use some tokens for performance, but it will be gradual,” Arrivabene revealed.

Jbg, nije kraj svijeta ali nije uopste dobro za njega. Startovace sa 8+ pozicije i bice mu zajebano.

Ovo nije moguće da Hamiltonu motor ne može da izgura jednu trku, a Rosbergu tri trke bez problema.
Ovo smrdi na Mercedes i neki dogovor da Hamilton malo "odmori" i osvoji Rozberg.
Od pocetka sezone mislim na to, 2 titule im je donio sad je vrijeme da NJEMAC pobijedi u NJEMACKOM timu.Quote:
