zlatio se RTL :) i kablovska :D
evo primjetih da se vecina timova zali tj da im izbor guma pravi problem......jer izgleda da nova podloga na jednom dijelu staze jede gume.....a znamo da miselin ima mekse gume od bridzstona i da ja bas u tome vidim najvecu sansu ferrarijaQuote:

Zanimljivo zanimljivooo,neochekivano toyota ovoliko brza,mada se drzi kimi dobro jer je truli napravio strasno vrijeme,ispostavilo se da je treci sektor mnooogo bitan...
Ochekujem sjutra da ce kimi bez teskoce preci trulija,isto tako ocekujem da ce alonso na startu preteci shumija,ali sve u svemu kad se trka razvije mislim da ce bit veoma zanimljivo i da ce bit dosta preticanja,nista se ne zna...

Trulli je stvarno odlicno izvozio a na zadnji sektor a pogotovo zadnju krivinu je najvise dobio jer je isa 342 km/h a kimi 334,5 km/h.Ipak utjeha mi je to sto je kimi najbolje izvozio 2-gi sector,a on je najtezi na stazi i tehnicki je najzahtjevniji.

Trullija ce dati odma pretec a mislim da sumi necedati alonsu da ga odmah obidje(auuuuuu kako bih volio da se pocukaju!!!!).Sigurno se biti kontakata dosta
Opet niko ne pominje da trke mozda i nece biti, timovi na michelinu za sad bojkotuju,ako im se ne omoguci zamjena guma bezbjednijima! Michelin takodje savjetuje bojkot! Eto fabia koliko je bridge "losh", sta sam ja pricao jos prije 2-3 dana?!

Zbog ovoga bih suspendovao Michelin iz takmicenja, jer gume svi moraju iste da imaju. Dobro je ako prodje bez tuzbe, posto da sam ja na mjesto Ralfa ja bi ih tuzio!!!!!

Ne, vishe bih volio da ima 3-4 proizvodjacha guma.
Kimi je mogao da tuzhi FIA-u a Toyota Michelina. Sjutra Schumi mozhe da dodje do prve pozicije samo ako pukne svaki Michelin.
A stvarno ne znam zashto Ferrari startuje sa punim rezervarom, ja sam glupan za to ali bolje da startuje prvi i da im bjezi na startu. Da li se secate proshle sezone i trke sa 4 pit stopa? Lik je napravio razmak od 19 sec i ushao u box i opet je izashao kao prvi!

a weekend of nothing but bad PR....
Three Michelin runners aced the top three positions in qualifying for the US Grand Prix with Jarno Trulli taking Toyota’s first Pole Position ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button. The talk of course was all about Michelin’s tyre problems at the US Grand Prix and here’s what the fastest three had to say.
Q: It’s been a tough weekend for the team, how have you tackled it?
Jarno TRULLI: We have done very limited mileage but we have done the best today that we could do, trying to guess the set-up, the tyres and everything so I’m really glad about the outcome of today’s qualifying.
Q: Can you talk a little bit about how much this has affected your preparation?
JT: Well, we have done a very small number of laps the previous day and even today. This morning I probably only did ten laps, not even consecutive, so we were trying to guess a little bit about the balance and for me the car balance yesterday was OK. We just had to try and get some more grip after the heat because this Indianapolis circuit has always been very slippery. Again, today was a mixed day because we’ve had some problems and probably some decisions need to be taken for tomorrow’s race.
Q: And your thoughts on tomorrow’s race in terms of strategy? Do you think the Michelin situation will have affected things more than usual?
JT: To be honest, at the moment it’s very difficult for me to talk about tomorrow’s race. We still have to get some data from Michelin and then we will probably understand better what we can do and what we cannot do. Anyway, today was a great day for me and for Toyota because we claimed our first pole position together.
Q: Kimi, it looked to be very quick on the infield sector but lost out in sectors one and three…
Kimi RÄIKKÖNEN: Yeah, I don’t know why really. I thought it was a pretty good lap, a similar time to what I did this morning so I was happy with it and now we just need to wait and see what the others are doing with the pit stops, but I think we are in a pretty strong position right now.
Q: What’s it been like at West McLaren Mercedes in this Michelin situation in the build-up to the race?
KR: OK. I think it’s the same for every team. It hasn’t made our preparation any easier but we did the best we could. I haven’t been 100 percent happy with the car but now, in the last practice and in qualifying, it seems to be pretty OK, so I’m much happier than I was yesterday. I don’t really worry about the tyres tomorrow in the race. I think they will be OK, and of course, we need to be a little bit cautious with them but we will go as quickly as we can and see what happens.
Q: Jenson, pole in Canada and now top three at Indianapolis.
Jenson BUTTON: Yes, it’s nice to get two good qualifyings on the trot but it wasn’t the best lap really. I struggled a lot with very low grip so it’s great to be third and I think we can do great things from here.
Q: You sound as though you’re surprised therefore to be third.
JB: Well, I was during the lap because it wasn’t a great lap, just very low grip, but it was obviously the same for everyone out there, so yes, it’s nice to be here and I think we can do some good things tomorrow. Our strategy is a good one. I’m looking forward to it.
Q: We know they’ve kept the same Honda engines in since Canada but again, it doesn’t look as though your top speed is absolutely brilliant here.
JB: No. We’re not up there on the straights so it just means we’ve got to get a good start and pull away from everyone really.
Q: Jarno, it has been a difficult time for the team so far so it must be delightful for the team to have this pole?
JT: Well, it has so far been difficult for everyone here, especially for Ralf, which was really bad luck. We came here with a lot of expectation and on Friday we had two crashes, one with Ralf, which was probably away from his car, and one with Ricardo, so we try to understand what is happening and for sure we have had a mixed emotion weekend so far. It has been quite difficult to set up the car, to work and to feel confident.
Q: You mentioned the confidence. It must be quite difficult knowing that your type of cars had those two failures.
JT: Yeah, I mean, some of us have been really lucky and I think up to now nothing major has happened but we still come with an emotion that we probably do not feel 100 percent confident with our car, with our package. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow but we will get some better idea this afternoon.
Q: Presumably it was difficult to come up with a strategy with the tyres. How did you plan for this race?
JT: Well, our tyre choice was down to Michelin and also we asked Michelin to get some idea about race strategy. We respected what they told us and we went for it.
Q: Kimi, are you happy with second?
KR: I would rather be first, of course, but we didn’t manage to do it. But I think we have a very strong race car and hopefully we can run a bit longer. I think we have a good chance to win tomorrow.
Q: So expecting to be heavy are you?
KR: Might be. (Laughter) We will see tomorrow.
Q: It must be very difficult for the strategy. What have you got to work on?
KR: It is not the easiest after all the difficulties with the tyres and Michelin are saying what they think should be done and we want to do what is best to try to win the race. So, I think we have to adapt and we just need to wait and see what happens tomorrow in the race. I am not too worried about the tyres, I think they will be fine, and we will just have to see what happens.
Q: Jenson, you went relatively early. Was that a disadvantage?
JB: It’s always going to be a disadvantage, but it’s not six tenths. I felt I had very low grip out there so I was slightly disappointed by the lap but I ended up P3 so that’s not bad.
Q: So you are pretty happy with that?
JB: Yeah, reasonably happy. We were quick in the fourth practice session and it is nice to be back up there in qualifying again. We know that the pace of the car is good here and also our race pace is very good as well.
Q: How do you see the tyre situation? Is it a calculated risk for you drivers?
JB: There are a lot of talks that need to be made this evening between all the teams and all the drivers and Michelin. At the moment and going into qualifying we just need to be looking forward to the race and being very positive that we will race tomorrow and I am hoping that there are not going to be any issues and we can go out there and have a good race.
Q: You haven’t had any indication of any problems with the BAR- Hondas at all? JB: No.
Q: (Bruce Martin - National Speedsport News) Jenson, I know Gil de Ferran has only been with the team a couple of months but how much use has it been bringing him on board to be in charge of things.
JB: I have been asked a lot about Gil, especially this weekend, and he is going to get a big head if I keep talking about him because he has done a great job. It is not easy coming into Formula One in his position and getting straight on with it, but he has done a great job, he has worked with the drivers closely, relaying information to the team, he has fitted in very well and it is important for us to have him on board.

JT: I think it is not at all chassis related.
Q: (Curt Cavin - Indianapolis Star) Jarno, is it just a matter of finding the right tyre pressure, is that the issue here?
JT: No, I don’t think so. We have had troubles with different tyre pressures, with different tyre types. So it is not set-up, it is something else.
Q: (Thierry Tassin – RTBF TV) After how many laps could you see the weakness of the tyres yesterday when you did the long runs?
JT: Unfortunately I did not do any long runs yesterday.
Q: (Riccardo Romani – Corriere della Sera) It is a very complicated situation now because of the regulations and the whole question of what is going to happen in tonight and tomorrow’s decision making. What is your feeling now that you are in pole position and the race might not happen tomorrow?
JT: At the moment we don’t think about it. There is still a lot of talking until probably in the afternoon we will probably get a better idea of what will happen for tomorrow. We have been told to qualify without any problems, then this afternoon and probably tomorrow we will know better about the race.

High stakes at the US Grand Prix
Glossing somewhat over all the problems for the company at Indianapolis, Michelin put out the following release over four hours after qualifying had finished.
Jarno Trulli (Toyota/Michelin) will lead the field away in tomorrow’s United States Grand Prix after securing the third pole position of his Formula One career – and a first for Panasonic Toyota Racing. The Italian also maintained Michelin’s unbroken run of nine F1 poles this season. He lapped the 4.192- kilometre (2.605- mile) track in 1m 10.625s – the fastest time of the weekend so far – to pip Canadian GP winner Kimi Räikkönen (Team McLaren Mercedes/Michelin) by just 0.069s.
Jenson Button (B•A•R-Honda) and Giancarlo Fisichella (Renault) completed a Michelin clean sweep of the top four with as many different chassis. World championship leader Fernando Alonso (Renault, sixth) was quickest of the remaining Michelin runners, ahead of Takuma Sato (B•A•R-Honda, eighth), Mark Webber (BMW WilliamsF1 Team, ninth), Felipe Massa (Sauber-Petronas, 10th), Juan Pablo Montoya (Team McLaren Mercedes, 11th), Jacques Villeneuve (Sauber-Petronas, 12th), Ricardo Zonta (Toyota, 13th), Christian Klien (Red Bull Racing, 14th), Nick Heidfeld (BMW WilliamsF1 Team, 15th) and David Coulthard (Red Bull Racing, 16th).

Sunday's US Grand Prix could be cancelled after Michelin advised teams using its tyres not to take part.
Michelin has suggested the seven teams not race unless Ralf Schumacher's tyre failure in practice on Friday can be explained or new tyres are allowed.
That would leave only six cars on the grid - from Ferrari, Jordan and Minardi - and rules state a race can be called off if there are less than 12 cars.
A tyre failure sent Schumacher smashing into a wall at Indianapolis on Friday.
Michelin were unable to "understand or reproduce" Schumacher's tyre failure.
The company wanted to fly in new tyres from its factory in France, but FIA rules prohibit the introduction of a new tyre part-way through a Grand Prix weekend
Renault chief Flavio Briatore said his team would not take part in the US GP if Michelin advised them not to.
"We fully support Michelin in this situation and in the efforts they are making to best resolve it," he said.
"They are flying out different tyres to use in the race, the same that were used for the Spanish Grand Prix.

Championship leader Fernando Alonso also supported Michelin's stance - but said he thought it was unlikely a boycott would be necessary.
The Renault driver said: "We are worried - all of the Michelin teams are.
"If Michelin say it's not safe, the drivers would agree not to race, but this is an extreme option and this will not happen, never.
"I think this low (tyre) pressure some of the teams ran yesterday was some of the problem," he added.
Schumacher's team-mate, Ricardo Zonta, also suffered a similar blowout at a less critical part of the circuit.
BTW, Ima li jos ko sem ja problema sa citanjem Fabijinih postova?? Kako da to opisem? Pa, njegovi postovi redovno ispadaju kao da su predvidjeni za rezoluciju ~1600x1200, pa non stop moram da skrolujem lijevo-desno da bi sve iscitao, a kad postuje ovako KOMPLETNU press konfereciju, hebalo maiku! :P
A kad bi bilo 4-5 proizvodjaca guma, mislim da bi svim timovima koji ne pobjedjuju bila prica kako imaju sve naj naj naj, al ih gume *ebu :D

Fabia stvarno bi mogao da preskocis ponekad postovanje ovih ogromnih textova na engleskom, ionako ih malo ko cita, no ili izaberi nesto sto je zanimljivo ili stavi link.
Gume koje dobijaju timovi nisu istog sastava i komponenti. Moraju se svima iste isporucivat srecko!!!!!Quote:

Bem ti solidarnost, aj sto je bruka kako su uzeli mjesta na prosloj trci,al ako sumi i bari pocnu da se prskaju sampanjcem na podijumu... Dzabe ja odje pricam o bojkotu, pa i propasti cijelog f1 sampionata kad istekne concorde agreement!
A najjace je opravdanje ferarija koji kaze da se nije pridruzio bojkotu "zbog navijacha"! :p pa 90% ce ugasit tv najdalje do po trke! I onda FIA mrzi ferari i bori se za bezbjednost?! Pffff... Eto vam ga doppietta konacno, i trka po vasem meraku! :p

Po tim glavnim pravilima "Formule 1" da bi trka bila validna potrebno je da trku zavrsi najmanje 12 formula sto je polovina tako je je teorijski nemoguce da trka bude validna vec ce oni da jure jos onih 50 krugova cisto bezvez ...
A najjaca fora je sto ce Ferrari rec da mora biti najmanje 12 zato sto startuju 24 a kad startuju 6 moraju makar 3 zavrsit trku a ta trojica ce sigurno stic do finish-a...
Svaka cast Ferrariju na ovom pametnom potezu ;)
