Kakav maler, kakav crnjak.
The result of the Italian Grand Prix remains provisional as Mercedes are under investigation for a possible tyre pressure technical infringement. Technical Delegate Jo Bauer reported that Lewis Hamilton’s left-rear tyre was 0.3PSI under Pirelli’s specified minimum starting pressure, while Nico Rosberg’s was 1.1PSI below the specified minimum pressure.
The matter has been referred to the stewards who will now investigate the incident and decide if any infringement has occurred and if any post-race penalty should be applied to Hamilton or the team.
The Technical Delegate’s report is as follows:
On the grid and after the 5-Minutes signal the tyre starting pressure and tread surface temperature of the left hand side rear tyre were checked on car numbers 44, 06, 05 and 07 and were compared with the specifications of the official Formula One tyre supplier. The specification for the minimum starting pressure is 19.5 PSI for the dry weather rear tyres and the maximum tyre blanket temperature is 110 °C for all dry weather tyres.
The tread surface temperature of the left hand side rear tyre of car numbers 44, 06, 05 and 07 was within the specification of the official Formula One tyre supplier.
The measured minimum tyre starting pressure of the left hand side rear tyre of car numbers 05 and 07 was above the specified minimum tyre starting pressure.
The measured minimum tyre starting pressure of the left hand side rear tyre of car number 44 was 0.3 PSI below the specified minimum tyre starting pressure and the measured minimum tyre starting pressure of car number 06 was 1.1 PSI below the specified minimum tyre starting pressure.
The tyre pressures were checked with the calibrated tyre pressure gauge of the official Formula One tyre supplier on all four cars.
Ispade zanimljiviji Tyregate od same trke.

I can't begin to imagine what MercedesAMGF1 are going though, they must be really UNDER-PRESSURE at the moment...

Formula One racing's governing body the FIA have confirmed that no further action will be taken with regards to Mercedes' potentially breaching the minimum starting tyre pressures at Monza.
As a result, Lewis Hamilton is set remain victor of the Formula 1 Gran Premio d’Italia 2015.
The concern centred around guidelines issues by Pirelli stating that teams must start the race with tyre pressures of 19.5psi or above. When both Mercedes were checked, Hamilton’s left-rear tyre was found to be 0.3psi below the required mark, with the same tyre on Nico Rosberg's car 1.1 psi under.
Even as the national anthems played on the podium, the result was therefore suddenly thrown into doubt, with Mercedes summoned to see the stewards.
Having heard the case, the FIA confirmed that no further action will be taken.
"Having heard from the Technical Delegate, the Team Representatives and the Pirelli Team Tyre engineer, the Stewards have determined that the pressure in the tyres concerned were at the minimum start pressure recommended by Pirelli when they were fitted to the car," the full statement from the FIA read.
"In making this determination regarding the pressures, the Stewards noted that the tyre warming blankets had been disconnected from their power source, as is normal procedure, and the tyres were significantly below the maximum permitted tyre blanket temperature at the time of the FIA’s measurement on the grid, and at significantly different temperatures from other cars measured on the grid.
"Further, the Stewards are satisfied that the team followed the currently specified procedure, supervised by the Tyre Manufacturer, for the safe operation of the tyres. Therefore the Stewards decide to take no further action.
"Nevertheless, the Stewards recommend that the Tyre Manufacturer and the FIA hold further meetings to provide clear guidance to the teams on measurement protocols."
Adrian nije vise njihov.
E, al Ferrari je Made in Italy.

According to the Brembo technicians who worked with him to configure the braking system, Vettel is a junior Schumi because he significantly contributes towards vehicle development.
Moreover he is able to pick up the subtlest differences in friction material: currently he is the only driver competing in Formula 1 who can prefer one particular set of brakes over another due to different types of carbon.

Ferrari tricking with Haas? There are reports that Ferrari is using a loophole for aero development by using Haas, new entrant, and its ability to use wind tunnel 24/7 without any restriction. Basically, Ferrari "fired" 70 guys from their aero division just for Haas to hire them and let them work on their car which will apparently be more or less a copy of next Ferrari's one and the one they have been really working on. They will hire those guys again in November...
Mercedes and RBR are furious with Ferrari but even more so because FIA has rejected their proposals with teams HWA and ARDEN that would use wind tunnels to research the possibility of competing one day.

Honda could test F1 engine in Super Formula car
Honda could fit its much-criticised F1 engine to a ‘Super Formula’ open wheel car, the Italian magazine Autosprint reports. In its latest edition, published earlier this week, Autosprint said the move could be a way for the embattled Japanese manufacturer to prove its 2015 ‘power unit’ is not as bad as many believe.
The news comes after the recent Italian grand prix, where insiders said an interview session featuring Honda’s under-fire Yasuhisa Arai was one of the most ‘brutal’ in recent F1 history.
McLaren and Honda appear increasingly divided, as despite Arai’s claims that the engine is better now than Renault’s, Fernando Alonso’s top speed at Monza was just 338kph — 16kph behind the leading Mercedes.
And Autosprint correspondent Cesare Maria Mannucci said Alonso’s 338 was only a few kph faster than the 331kph recorded by GP2 driver Robert Visoiu.
Honda, however, could now be set to fight back against the claim that it is entirely to blame for McLaren’s lack of pace.
The report said the Japanese are planning to install the turbo V6 unit to a chassis of Japan’s premier open-wheeler series, Super Formula, and test it at Suzuka.
Super Formula cars are powered by 4 cylinder, 2-litre turbo engines, but Autosprint said installation of Honda’s F1 unit would nonetheless be possible.
“The tests would be carried out in collaboration with the Mugen or Nakajima teams,” Cesare Maria Munnicci claimed, explaining that the outcome might finally answer the question of “who is to blame” for McLaren-Honda’s awful 2015.
Why Singapore GP is make or break for McLaren, Red Bull and Toro Rosso
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/wp-con...t-16.36.00.png
Most Formula 1 teams long ago came to the conclusion that they would not be competing for the championship this year, or even for wins and in most cases even for podiums. But racers are optimists at heart and there is always something to look forward to; for the majority this weekend is that opportunity.
But not everyone who has been targeting a season’s best result in Singapore can get it, so there will be some major disappointment come Sunday night and for some the season will effectively be over.
Such has been the domination of Mercedes in 2015 that only two race wins have got away from them – to Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari. After 12 rounds, Mercedes has scored 452 points out of a maximum of 516, which is 87% of the maximum available points, with seven 1-2 finishes, while pole for either Mercedes driver at Marina Bay will extend the team’s unbroken pole streak to 24 races, equalling the record of Williams during the 1992/93 active suspension era.
The signs in Monza were that the new Mercedes power unit is a big step up from the old one, perhaps half a second in pure performance, so there is no let up from the Stuttgart marque.
Consequently, there has been a lot of talk from teams blown away by this domination about Singapore representing a “great chance for a result”, as the power deficit is minimised there.
At the same time teams like Williams and Lotus may struggle a bit more than they have lately due to the track characteristics, creating some opportunities to get among the serious points positions.
Red Bull, Toro Rosso and McLaren in particular are all hoping to come away with something to show from the two hour marathon around the streets of Singapore.
They all took care to get any potential engine penalties out of the way in Monza, where the damage is minimised, so as not to have to take any pain in Singapore, where it would be impossible to recover.
Alonso has accumulated an impressive 90 places worth of grid penalties this season due to changing Honda engines.
Provided none of the drivers from these teams get more penalties from replacing parts of power units, then this is how we see their prospects.

McLaren
Yet to reach Q3 with either driver this season, McLaren will want to build on Fernando Alonso’s 5th place finish in Hungary, the last track on which their yawning deficit in deployment of the energy recovery system counted for little. McLaren will also be buoyed by the starts its drivers have made since the rules changed last month; Alonso and Button have both gained nine places in the two races since then.
Both drivers have done well in Singapore with Alonso a two times winner among five podium finishes there and Button twice second.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/wp-con...t-16.28.53.png
On the downside, Monza was a milestone McLaren hoped it would never cross, which was its 50th Grand Prix since its last win. No wonder the team has set its sights on Singapore as the last real chance this season – reliability permitting – to salvage some respectability from a miserable campaign.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/wp-con...t-16.31.57.png
Toro Rosso
If you put an F1 fan on the spot and ask how Toro Rosso is doing this season, chances are he will tell you that it’s going well. Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz have been competitive in a wonderful chassis, with Sainz getting some impressive qualifying results with five Top 10 grid slots and a best of 5th, and Verstappen pulling off some overtaking masterpieces.
But a glance at the championship standings tells another story; the strong performances have not been backed up with results and reliability issues have clouded the campaign. Toro Rosso has just 35 points, 12 of which came with Verstappen’s breakthrough 4th place in Hungary. They lie a distant 7th in the constructors’ championship standing, which is no kind of return from what has been one of their best chassis for years.
Between them the drivers have retired seven times in 12 Grands Prix and Sainz’s last points came in Monaco.
The performance of the Renault power unit, particularly on race days, has been the handicap and especially on the power circuits F1 has visited lately. So Singapore is targeted as a track where both men should get solid top ten points scoring results from the nimble Toro Rosso chassis. The fact that the team tried out three different front wings in Monza, shows that the team are making a great effort, but also that they are getting desperate.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/wp-con...t-16.34.42.png
Red Bull
The other team with an underpowered engine, Red Bull scored a double podium in Hungary – the last time power didn’t count – and they will be looking to repeat in Singapore. Daniil Kvyat’s growing maturity has been one of the stories of the season; he and Daniel Ricciardo are capable of qualifying up the front and staying there this weekend against the Ferraris, just behind the Mercedes.
Red Bull has won Singapore three times, in the era when its Renault powered car with the exhaust blown diffuser was the ultimate weapon for the lower speed corners. Since Silverstone this year the chassis has improved a great deal and is giving little away now to the front runners, so there will be significant pressure to race at the front this weekend.
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/wp-con...t-16.33.23.png
Behind the scenes the messy divorce from Renault continues, which is clearly a distraction and a drain on energy.
Dobra!!!!
