The Paraguay Health Declaration provides comprehensive guidelines on how the country can improve health care for its citizens. One of these is the establishment of a National Health Mission. In the past, the mission was composed of a small team that worked closely with the different sections of the health administration so as to provide better health care services. The assignment is still functional, but the number of associates has been reduced to reduce overlap in services among different government agencies and associations. The diminished size of the group provides a more manageable and functional health agency construction.
